Can I make up days I miss by attending another training?
No. Missed training time cannot be made up by attending sessions from another IFS training.
IFS trainings are designed as cohort-based, experiential programs. Each training operates as a complete learning group with a fixed structure, including practice groups and facilitation that are specific to that cohort.
Because of this design:
-
Participants cannot join another training to make up missed sessions
-
Attendance cannot be transferred or combined across different trainings
-
Missed hours cannot be recovered through alternate cohorts
If you miss more training time than is allowed under the attendance requirements for your specific training, you will not be eligible to earn a Certificate of Completion.
If earning a Certificate of Completion is important for your goals, you may need to retake the training in a future offering if attendance requirements are not met.
For this reason, we strongly recommend registering for a training cohort whose schedule you’re confident you can fully attend. Registering for a training that does not fit your availability may result in missing more hours than allowed and being ineligible to complete the training.
For specific attendance limits, please refer to your training’s Informational Brochure.
