What if I miss some days of my training?

IFS Institute understands that unexpected situations—such as illness or emergencies—can arise during a training program.

All IFS trainings allow participants to miss a limited amount of training time while still remaining eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion. However, attendance requirements vary by training level and program and are not universal.

Where to find attendance requirements and completion

You can find the required number of training hours in the training’s Informational Brochure, which is available on the Training webpage:

North American Level 1 Trainings

North American Level 2 Trainings

North American Level 3 Trainings

Within the brochure, please review the section titled: “Training Certificate of Completion and Attendance Requirements”, it will include:

  • The training's schedule
  • The total number of program hours offered
  • The maximum number of hours you may miss
  • The minimum number of hours required to earn a Certificate of Completion

Participants are responsible for reviewing these requirements and ensuring they can meet the attendance threshold for their specific training.

Important things to know

  • Attendance allowances differ by training and level

  • Missed training hours cannot be made up through recordings or transcripts

  • No recordings or transcripts are provided for missed sessions

  • It is your responsibility to track your attendance and meet completion requirements

Where to find your exact attendance limits

Because attendance requirements vary, always refer to your training’s Informational Brochure for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

If you have questions about your attendance status after you are registered, you may contact the IFS Institute for guidance.
