Are there scholarships available for IFS Institute's training programs?

IFS Institute offers a limited number of scholarships for North American training programs to eligible participants.

Scholarships are intended to increase access to IFS trainings and are awarded based on both Diversity/Inclusion and Economic Need criteria.

What scholarships cover

Scholarships provide a partial contribution toward tuition only.

Please note that scholarships do not cover:

  • Full tuition

  • Travel

  • Lodging

  • Meals

  • Other training-related expenses

Who is eligible to apply

For the full eligibility requirements, please review What are the eligibility requirements for receiving a scholarship? You may be eligible to apply for a scholarship if you meet both of the following criteria:

  • You identify as part of the Global Majority and/or LGBTQ+ communities and your professional work serves marginalized communities, and

  • Your total household income is $90,000 USD per year or below

When to apply

Scholarship interest is indicated during the General Application (GA) process.

When completing your General Application for a North American training:

  • You’ll be asked to check a box indicating that you’re interested in applying for a scholarship

  • After your General Application is submitted, you’ll receive a scholarship application invitation email (typically within 24 hours)

  • The scholarship application is completed separately, using the link provided in that email

Only applicants who indicate scholarship interest during the General Application stage will receive a scholarship application invitation.

Important things to know

  • Scholarships are limited

  • Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a scholarship award

  • Scholarships are reviewed separately from training admission decisions
