How do I register for an IFS Training?
You can only register during an active Registration Period — and only if you receive a registration invitation by email.
IFS trainings are not open for year-round, self-service registration, and we do not manually place participants outside of this structured process.
What Needs to Happen Before You Can Register?
There are three steps:
1. Submit a General Application (GA)
Each training level (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3) has its own General Application.
2. Receive Approval
Once your application is approved, you become eligible to register.
Your approval does not expire.
3. Receive a Registration Invitation
When a Registration Period opens, approved applicants receive an email invitation with instructions for registering through the Customer Portal.
If you haven’t received an invitation, registration is not open to you yet.
I’m Approved — Why Can’t I Register Right Now?
Approval means you’re eligible — not that registration is immediately available.
Registration happens in designated Registration Periods throughout the year. During those windows, eligible applicants receive invitations and can choose from the trainings available at that time.
If the current offerings don’t work for your schedule, you can simply wait for a future Registration Period. There is no penalty for doing so.
A Few Helpful Reminders
-
There are no waitlists for trainings
-
There is no early or manual enrollment outside of the invitation process
-
You do not need to contact Support to “stay eligible”
-
Your approval remains active until you enroll
