What is the difference between a Certificate of Completion and IFS Certification?

A Certificate of Completion and IFS Certification are not the same.

They represent different stages of professional development within the IFS Institute.

Certificate of Completion

A Certificate of Completion is issued after successfully completing an IFS training, such as Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3.

It confirms that you attended and completed the training requirements.

A Certificate of Completion does not indicate competency evaluation beyond the training experience and does not grant the designation “IFS Certified”.

IFS Certification

IFS Certification is a separate, competency-based professional designation.

It is available only after completing Level 1 Training and requires:

  • Meeting eligibility requirements

  • Completing required consultation hours

  • Documenting direct IFS practice hours

  • Submitting and passing a formal video review

Certification grants the right to use the designation “IFS Certified” and the official IFS Certified badge.

Certification must be renewed through the recertification process.
