My General Application Is Approved — What Happens Next?

Once your General Application is approved, you become eligible to receive registration invitations. Registration does not happen immediately — it occurs during specific Registration Periods and follows a structured process.

What Approval Means

When your General Application is approved:

  • ✅ You are eligible for an IFS training registration

  • ✅ Your approval and eligibility does not expire

  • ✅ You will continue to receive registration invitations until you enroll

  • ❌ Approval does not mean immediate registration


What Happens Next

  1. Set up your Customer Portal account
    If you have not already - you must have an active Customer Portal account using the same email address as your application.

  2. Wait for a Registration Period
    Registration opens only during specific periods, each with a defined set of trainings.

  3. Receive a Registration Invitation (when applicable)
    Invitations are sent by email during Registration Periods.

  4. Register if a training works for you
    If none fit your schedule, you can simply wait for the next Registration Period.


Important to Know

  • There is no penalty for skipping a Registration Period

  • Your approval & eligibility remains active until you enroll

  • You do not need to contact Support to “stay on the list”

  • There are no waitlists for trainings.

When to Contact Support

Contact us if:

  • You need to update your application email

  • You’re unsure whether your Customer Portal account is set up

  • You’re not receiving emails at all (check spam first)
