I am not a mental health professional. What opportunities are there for me?

Professionals from many different fields may use the IFS model to inform and guide their work. This work motivates our organization to create updated educational programming to serve a broader range of disciplines and the public, in addition to our current programming.

Please consider adding yourself to IFS Institute's email notification list to stay informed about new resources as they become available.

You can also check out the Conference and Events sections of our website to see what we have coming up!

The Online Circle is IFS Institute's foundational six-month Learning Hub program inspired by our Level 1 Training, which provides a comprehensive overview of the IFS model. Since its launch in 2016, thousands of providers have taken the Online Circle, and we invite you to join this growing community.

Those who complete the Online Circle often go on to participate in our annual Continuity Programs and On-Demand Learning selections, which cover trending, advanced applications of the IFS model. (Hint: take a look at the Online Learning section of our website to learn more about these programs and join the waitlists for any that interest you!)

Richard C. Schwartz, the founder of IFS, created a brand new Internal Family Systems Workbook available from our partners at Sounds True. This publication features over 50 practices, exercises, and meditations to support different learning styles and bolster your IFS journey.

A live, six-week guided IFS experience called Befriending Your Inner Parts recently began in March! While enrollment for this course has closed, you may join the waitlist to be notified of future opportunities to participate. Over the course of this immersive program, participants connect with one another and go through the workbook with several IFS facilitators, including Dr. Schwartz himself.

Embracing All of You is another six-week, self-paced course offered by Sounds True. It is a collaborative, in-depth teaching series on Compassionate Inquiry (CI) developed by Gabor Maté and Internal Family Systems (IFS) developed by Richard Schwartz—comparing both mentors' approaches to self-discovery and healing.

No Bad Parts and Introduction to Internal Family Systems are two highly-regarded introductory books available in our IFS Store. Many of the featured publications in our store are aids for mental health professionals, so please make sure the descriptions feel relevant to you and your educational needs before making your purchase.

Last but not least, the mobile app Insight Timer also has several meditations led by Dick on unblending with parts.
