Registration Tips for Success

Please note that to register for a Level 1, 2, or 3 Training with IFS Institute, you must first submit a General Application (GA) during an open submission window. Learn more about this process here. To stay updated on application opportunities, please subscribe to receive our training program email notifications.

Only after your GA is approved will you be invited to register for training programs. Registration opportunities are staggered based on training availability. These opportunities are announced by email, and not all approved applicants will be invited to each registration period.

If you have been invited by email to register for a training program, registration will occur on a first-come, first-serve basis. To help set you up for success, here’s a list of tips to improve your chances of securing a seat during the registration window:

Before Registration Opens

  • Log into your Customer Portal account on the device/browser you'll use to register and make sure your username and password are saved with autofill.

  • Bookmark the pages of each training you're interested in.

  • Pre-save your payment method to your Customer Portal account.

  • 10-15 minutes prior to the start of registration, clear your web browser's cookies and cache, and log back into the Customer Portal. Open each of your bookmarked training pages in separate windows or tabs.

When Registration Begins

  • Use a strong internet connection (avoid public Wi-Fi if possible).

  • Refresh each of your bookmarked training pages right at the start of your registration window.

  • Submit quickly but carefully—double-check your details before finalizing.
