What are Bridge Days?

Bridge Days are shorter, scheduled training days that occur between multi-session segments of certain IFS trainings.

Bridge Days are included in some Level 1 trainings only, depending on the training’s format.

What is the purpose of a Bridge Day?

Because there can be extended time between training sessions, Bridge Days are designed to:

  • Help the cohort reconnect between sessions

  • Reinforce learning through practice group work

  • Support continuity in the training experience

Bridge Days typically focus on integration and experiential practice rather than new instructional content.

What to expect

  • Bridge Days are shorter than regular training days

  • A typical Bridge Day runs approximately 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (local training time)

  • Activities often include practice groups and cohort-based learning

Attendance and CE credit

  • If a training includes Bridge Days, they are considered part of the overall program schedule and count toward attendance requirements

  • Bridge Days do not provide Continuing Education (CE) credit

Specific attendance expectations are outlined in the training’s Informational Brochure.

Important note

Not all trainings include Bridge Days. Always refer to your training’s webpage and Informational Brochure to confirm whether Bridge Days are part of your program.
