What are IFS Continuing Education Credits that count towards recertification?

To complete Recertification, Certified individuals must earn 20 IFS Continuing Education (CE) credits within the two-year certification period.

Eligible Continuing Education credits may come from the following:

Advanced IFS Trainings

  • Level 2 IFS Trainings

  • Level 3 IFS Trainings

  • Program Assisting for Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Trainings

IFS Institute Programs and Events

  • IFS Annual Conference

  • IFSI Program Assistant Development Workshops

  • Programs featuring IFS Trainers or events with Richard Schwartz that are pre-approved for IFS Continuing Education credit

  • IFS-I Pre-approved Advanced Workshops led by Certified Therapists or Practitioners

IFS Learning Hub On-Demand Programs

Eligible IFS Continuing Education credits may also be earned through qualifying on-demand programs available in the IFS Learning Hub.

Each qualifying program lists the number of IFS Continuing Education credits available.

 

Clinical Consultation

Up to 10 of the required 20 CE credits may come from Clinical Consultation with an IFS Approved Clinical Consultant.

Documentation Requirement

Certificates of Completion or other official documentation must be submitted with your Recertification application.

IFS Continuing Education credits must align with the official Certification Policy in effect at the time of submission.
