What does it mean to earn a Certificate of Completion for an IFS Level 1, 2 and 3 training?
Earning a Certificate of Completion confirms that you successfully completed an IFS training program and met all required attendance and participation requirements.
A Certificate of Completion allows you to:
-
Apply for the next level of IFS training
-
Apply to become a Program Assistant (PA) for eligible trainings
-
Request a listing on the IFS Institute Provider Directory
-
Refer to yourself as IFS Level 1 Trained, IFS Level 2 Trained, or IFS Level 3 Trained (based on the level completed)
-
Pursue IFS Certification, if you meet all certification prerequisites
Important distinction: Completion vs. Certification
Earning a Certificate of Completion is not the same as being IFS Certified.
-
Completing Level 1 Training does not automatically make you IFS Certified
-
Certification is a separate process with its own eligibility requirements, application steps, and completion criteria
-
Participants must meet all certification prerequisites and successfully complete the certification process to become IFS Certified
For detailed information about certification requirements and the certification pathway, please visit the IFS Institute Certification webpage.
What to review before registering
Attendance and completion requirements vary by training and level and are outlined in each training’s Informational Brochure. Missing more than the allowed training hours may make you ineligible to earn a Certificate of Completion.
If earning a Certificate of Completion—or advancing to future training or certification—is important for your goals, we recommend reviewing these requirements carefully before registering.
