What is the Video Review process for an applicant?
As part of the IFS Certification process, applicants must complete a Recorded Session Review or Live Session Review.
Session Requirements
Applicants must either:

Submit a high-quality recording of an individual IFS session approximately 45–60 minutes in length
OR -
Schedule a live IFS session of the same length for a Certification Reviewer to observe
Sessions must reflect work conducted within the IFS model framework.
Certification Reviewer
Recorded and Live Session Reviews are conducted by authorized Certification Reviewers.
Applicants are responsible for coordinating directly with a Reviewer and paying the review fee.
The current fee is:

$200 USD for review of a session up to 60 minutes
(Paid directly to the Certification Reviewer)
Additional time may result in prorated fees as determined by the Reviewer.
Required Written Materials
For both Recorded and Live Session Reviews, applicants must submit:

One-page session summary
Describing the context and/or contract for the IFS work process or session. -
One-page summary of IFS skills demonstrated
Identifying the skills and elements of the IFS model exemplified in the session. -
One-page self-evaluation
Reflecting on strengths and growing edges in the session. This may include a Self and Parts self-assessment describing how the applicant maintained Self energy and managed any therapist parts activated during the session.
Certification Reviewers evaluate sessions according to established competency standards outlined in the Certification Policy.
