How do I register for an IFS Level 1, 2, or 3 Training Program?
Registration for IFS Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Training Programs follows a structured admissions process. Each training level has its own General Application (GA), and applicants must have completed and graduated from the preceding level to be eligible to apply.
Training level prerequisites
Before applying, please note the following eligibility requirements:
-
Level 1 Training
This is the entry point to the IFS training pathway. Review Who is eligible for Level 1 Trainings. -
Level 2 Training
Applicants must have graduated from an IFS Level 1 training. -
Level 3 Training
Applicants must have graduated from an IFS Level 2 training.
Each level requires submission of a separate General Application specific to that training level.
Step 1: Submit a General Application (GA)
Everyone begins by submitting a General Application (GA) during an open GA Period. Please note:
-
General Applications are only available during open GA Periods
-
You must apply separately for each training level
To receive notifications when GA Periods open, we strongly recommend opting in to email notifications.
Step 2: GA review and registration invitation
When your General Application (GA) is approved, you will receive a registration invitation by email. This invitation is the only way to be placed into an IFS training.
Please note:
-
All GA-approved applicants receive a registration invitation email
-
You cannot register for a training without this invitation
The registration invitation email will:
-
List the available trainings you are eligible to register for during that registration period
-
Include step-by-step instructions for completing your registration through the Customer Portal
Step 3: Register through the Customer Portal
When you receive a registration invitation, you will complete your training registration through the IFS Customer Portal.
